My dad showed me how to juggle three balls when I was about ten years old. In every following summer I could be found playing in the garden, adding more juggling toys or trying a cartwheel and a handstand here and there. But it was only after graduating from high school, when the performers of 'Dream State Circus' showed me on my travels through Australia, that the – probably unconscious – dream of a life in the circus can be very close to reality.

I found a circus school – 'Codarts - Hogeschool vor de kunsten' in Rotterdam – and a circus discipline that I am passionate about – Single Wheel. Since June 2017 I am graduated as a circus artist, but already before and during my education in Codarts I had the possibility and honour to perform in various shows:
